The Municipality of Tilburg has selected Karres en Brands for the design of the new Stappegoor Park in Tilburg South! This is an important step in the transformation of the area, where significant efforts have already been made on its development in recent years. Over the past year, a vision for the Stappegoor Park and the sports campus was developed in close collaboration with local stakeholders, which has gained broad support. The design will further elaborate on this vision.

The goal of the design assignment is to create a unique city park and park residences in collaboration with residents, developers, and the municipality, thereby enhancing the quality of life in Tilburg South. This new park will not only provide a beautiful green space but also serve as a place where living, recreation, and nature come together. A significant milestone in the development of the Stappegoor area, where upcoming years will also see work on the Heart of Stappegoor and the realization of the Willemskwartier.
