On Monday the 11th of december the new visitor center of the American Cemetery in Margraten was opened. The visitor center designed by Kaan Architects is part of the monumental ensemble of the American Cemetery. Located in the Limburg region of Margraten, it offers visitors a place for education and reflection, amid the tranquillity of the surrounding landscape. Karres and Brands designed the public space surroundings of the new Visitor Center and was responsible for a careful integration with the existing monument.
