SADC commissioned Karres en Brands and ARUP for the Station Area Schiphol Trade Park

The Schiphol Area Development Company (SADC) has commissioned Karres en Brands along with ARUP, to prepare a development vision for the Station Area Schiphol Trade Park. The project site is on the doorstep of Schiphol Airport and at the heart of a series of strategic business locations along the Enter[NL] corridor: a strip of about 30 hectares running from Hoofddorp via Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Zuidas.

Perfectly positioned adjacent to multiple key transport corridors including Hoofddorp’s transit connections, the Station area is also bordered by the UNESCO World Heritage listed De Stelling van Amsterdam, one of the Netherlands’ most important cultural and landscape structures. The development vision will explore how the extraordinary qualities of this location can be capitalised upon to deliver a vibrant new urban district with a mix of functions and opportunities for a wide variety of potential users.

A diverse, contemporary business district that is fundamentally adaptable to changing work practices, mobility trends and climate impacts whilst being anchored in its Hoofddorp context.
