Due to the growing number of (international) projects, we are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring, and experienced Landscape Architect / Project Manager to join us immediately. In this role, you will be able to independently lead a team and work on a variety of design challenges in the fields of landscape architecture and public space. You have 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position, working on projects at different scales, from vision through to realization.

• A degree in garden and landscape architecture;
• Strong design and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on (international) projects and to lead project team members in an inspiring and results-driven way;
• The ability to develop strong concepts and, together with colleagues, elaborate them carefully with attention to detail;
• Strong communication skills, both internally and externally;
• Good spatial insight and an architectural mindset;
• A proactive and open working attitude, with the ability to work well in a team;
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both written and spoken, is required; proficiency in English or German is an advantage.

Karres en Brands is an international design office specializing in landscape architecture, urban design, and architecture. We work on a wide range of projects, studies, and competitions both in the Netherlands and abroad. Our projects vary in scale, from concept to implementation and from regional strategies to detailed design. We have offices in Hilversum (NL) and Hamburg (DE), with approximately 50 employees representing 14 different nationalities.
