Grotius Building Wins Architecture Prize Nijmegen 2015

The Grotius Building - a new university building for the Radboud University Nijmegen designed by Benthem Crouwel architects, Studio Groen+Schild and karres+brands - is selected by the jury as the winner of the Architecture Prize Nijmegen 2015, out of 42 submissions.

The project excels in the urban integration, as in detailing, choice of materials and the development of the interior. "A design excels thanks to the intensive collaboration between the commissioner, architect, structural engineer, installation and building physics advisor and craftsmanship of the builders”, according to the jury members.
